This summer, over 50 organizations and individuals joined Jack Johnson and took the Wave for Change challenge for World Oceans Day. They took action for the ocean by committing to reduce their use of plastics in a number of ways! Texas State Aquarium stopped selling plastic water bottles and began selling boxed water instead, Shedd Aquarium pledged not to use straws in their restaurants, and students in Clearwater, Florida promised to pick up trash on their local beaches. The Wave for Change also generated millions of impressions online, as many people showed their support for preventing plastic pollution in our oceans. Thank you for riding the Wave for Change this summer!
