March for the Ocean - Broward County

Surfrider Foundation Broward Chapter and Free Our Seas will host the March for the Ocean walk and beach festival on Saturday, June 9th, 2018.  9 am - 1 pm.  We will meet at Charnow Park on Hollywood Beach Broadwalk at 9 am, and then walk to the Marine Environmental Education Center at 10 am.  The round trip walk totals about 2.6 miles.  It is paved, and it is along the beach.  It will be a fun day with art, music, non profit tables, and education.  Invite all of your ocean loving friends!  Come dressed as an ocean animal, bring a poster, wear blue, or carry a clean up bucket with a message about the ocean.  Thank you to Lance-O of Kulcha Shok Muzik for providing positive reggae vibes for our event.  See you there!  (This year's theme is plastic pollution awareness, so this event is plastic and foam free.  Please, no bottled water, plastic straws, or foam).  Thank you!
