Barwon Bluff Marine Sanctuary Beach Clean-up

Come down to the Barwon Bluff Marine Sanctuary where the Barwon Coast Committee of Management and Parks Victoria will be conducting a clean-up to celebrate World Ocean's Day.

On the day the Barwon Coast and Parks Victoria will talk to volunteers about the impacts marine pollution has on the environment, and local impacts that occur at Barwon Bluff Marine Sanctuary.

Please be at the top carpark of the Barwon Bluff Marine Sanctuary at 11am.

Data will be collected for the Australian Marine Debris Initiative and submitted to Tangaroa Blue.

    Discussion of the impact of marine pollution and what can be done to minimise that impact.

    Ocean & climate,Ocean governance,Marine pollution
    Participate in a community cleanup,Pledge to eliminate or lower their use of single use plastic bags / bottles,Share their commitment on social media
  • Event will be highlighting organization's own efforts to reduce use of plastic
