Beach Party for Big Blue

The American Littoral Society is making waves this World Oceans Day! Join us at our host locations Langosta Loungeand Pop's Garage on the beach and boardwalk in Asbury Park where we're having a Beach Party for Big Blue!

  • Kids Activities and free food
  • Silent Disco on the beach
  • Environmental tabling information and ocean action items with ocean partners
  • Special adult food menu and Blue Drinks
  • Ocean Film Screenings
  • Bonfire on the beach

Starting at 5:00 p.m. there will be fun activities for children including sand art, trivia games, free kids dinner choices from 5 - 6:30 p.m. (compliments of the Society) and much more;

There will be special buffet menu for adults and "Blue Drink" specials sponsored by Ocean organic vodka;

Short 10-minute film screenings throughout the event that you can watch in Pop's Garage: "Ocean Frontiers III" (Green Fire Productions) and "A Vision for our Ocean" (American Littoral Society). These films tell compelling stories about how we're planning for healthy oceans and sustainable uses in our busy ocean of today;

Learn the latest about threats to our ocean and take action: sign a petition; take a pledge; join the Society and help us to keep protecting the coast!

Throughout the event we'll have a "Beach Party Silent Disco" where you can dance like nobody's watching to your own beat! Chose your jam from three station channel headsets that will be available for your dancing enjoymentcompliments of the Society;

Enjoy night time on the beach, unwind around our beach bonfire, and reflect on how much we love our amazing ocean!

  • Event will be highlighting organization's own efforts to reduce use of plastic
