Clean Ocean Access Fundraiser on World Oceans Day

Join us on World Oceans Day for a fundraiser to benefit Clean Ocean Access in honor of Michael Brown.

4 – 5:30 p.m. | Beach cleanup at Easton’s Beach, Newport
6 – 9 p.m. | Fundraiser at Easton’s Beach Rotunda, Newport

We’ll begin the evening with a beach cleanup and then gather for a celebration of our ocean. Sip cocktails by the sea while listening to the sounds of Putnam Murdock. Tickets are $40 each, which includes heavy hors d’oeuvres provided by Whole Foods Market and an open bar.

During the evening, Clean Ocean Access will kick off our 2017 annual appeal and honoring an outstanding volunteer with the first “Clean Ocean Access - Michael Brown Mission2.Ocean Award.”

Michael became part of the Clean Ocean Access efforts in 2014 as his love and respect for our oceans, lakes and rivers aligned with our action-based efforts to protect and preserve ocean health. His vision brought together innovation, education, science and community. His approach continuously graced us with a wonderful sense of accomplishment that was only outdone by a never-ending drive and determination to move forward to make things happen.

Come celebrate our 10 years of environmental impact and help fuel our efforts for the future.

A big thanks to Whole Foods Market and Packaging 2.0 for making this event happen! To learn more about Clean Ocean Access and our efforts, head over to our website: www.cleanoceanaccess.org.
