Come and join the fun on World Oceans Weekend!
Every year, on the 8th of June, we celebrate World Oceans Day. This year we've decided to extend this to World Oceans Weekend!
Come and join us at Blair Drummond for a fun filled weekend surrounded by your favorite animals, many of them which rely on the worlds oceans for their survival.
This year the Marine Conservation Society will be visiting the park to talk about the future of our oceans. Our team of keepers at Sea Lions and at Penguins will be talking about the importance of keeping our oceans clean and healthy. There will also be interactive touch tables, allowing children and adults alike to see the effects polluting our oceans can have on marine animals. Our Education Team will be on hand through out the day to answer any questions you might have.
This years theme is "Our Oceans, Our Future" - we will not only talk about the effect ocean pollution and over-fishing has on marine animals, but the effect it will have on the future of mankind. Why not come along and be a part of our "World Ocean Weekend" experience? We are here to inspire you to work out what you can do to safeguard our oceans for future generations!
