Youth Ocean Workshops

Fisheries and Oceans Canada is partnering with the Marine Institute, ACAP and the Qalipu First Nations for a series of six youth oceans workshops for all K-12 students in the areas of Corner Brook, Benoit’s Cove, Meadows, Pasadena and Deer Lake. One workshop will be facilitated in French. Workshops will include Aboriginal water dance/and presentations in respect to the ocean, talks on expanding the opportunity to increase awareness about marine sustainability, and provide hands on engagement activities in marine innovation and youth leadership.
