Saturday June 9, 2018: A Bangkok Riverside Cleanup. The singular main event has been changed from one central location to a number of smaller clean-ups around the city. If you would like to start your own cleanup or join another, please email me at the address below. As you know the hundreds of canals in the “Venice of the East” all eventually flow into the Gulf of Thailand, littering beaches, polluting water, killing wildlife, and poisoning the fish we eat. Join us to spend one day (and hopefully inspire others) to do our part in cleaning up the river-side mess that will soon wash into the sea. Consider a 200-500 Baht cash donation to support our riverside cleanup. If you would like to make a larger donation to support our work please go here and type World Oceans Day in the subject box. Please RSVP and send any questions to email@example.com. Don’t forget to take pictures!
