2019 World Oceans Day Beach Cleanup Jamboree

Bahamas Plastic Movement will host it’s 5th Annual World Oceans Day Beach Clean Jamboree up in Governors Harbour,, Eleuthera at the beautiful Sky Beach (Tentative). Our aim is to unite and engage youth and community members from North, South and Central Eleuthera in an act of environmental stewardship, while providing a chance to connect with nature and each other. This event aims to remove a minimum of 500 lbs of  plastic debris from the beach with this cleanup initiative. Participants will clean the beach on June 8th from 11am-2pm and will celebrate our world’s oceans during a  picnic and an afternoon filled with fun and games before transporting debris from the beach
