To celebrate our blue planet, join the World Oceans Day Live event on YouTube on 8 June at 11:00 BST or 14:00 BST / 09:00 EDT.
Your hosts for this online event will be Dr. Lucy Woodall, marine biologist and principal scientist working at the University of Oxford and Digital Explorer director and co-founder Jamie Buchanan-Dunlop.
Bring your class to one of the free YouTube live sessions to learn about the incredible marine life living deep underwater and the science behind submarine exploration.
The event is part of the XL Catlin Oceans Education programme and organised by Digital Explorer in partnership with Nekton, an alliance of organisations committed to bringing the deep ocean to life and highlighting the urgent need for a coherent global policy for protecting the oceans.
