Loro Parque is going to actively participate on the Ocean day. The park has organized special activities to inform and educate its visitors about the problems and threats to the ocean and its inhabitants (melting glaciers and sea level rise, threats to cetaceans, bycatch, plastic pollution, coral bleaching or finning).

Visitors will be able to engage in a scavenger hunt in order to find the 7 information boards that are located in different areas of the park: Planet Penguin, OrcaOcean, Dolphinarium, Aquaviva (Jellyfish exhibition), Animal Embassy and Aquarium. By taking a picture in each of the points and upload them on their social media with the hashtag #OceansXplorersLP, participants will be rewarded at the Loro Parque Fundación shop with some special gifts.

Furthermore, we will be having special activities for the schools visiting on June 8th such as dolphins and killer whales workshops, "behind the scenes” aquarium visits and more outreach activities.
