This year at S.E.A. Aquarium, we have lined up a month of conservation-themed activities based on the theme of Healthy Ocean, Healthy Us. Our aim is to raise awareness, and to educate and inspire ocean conservation, with a renewed focus on marine plastic pollution – to encourage solutions to this global issue, as well as to prevent marine litter for a healthier ocean and a healthier future for mankind.
The S.E.A. Aquarium Society, the aquariums new not-for-profit arm, will partner schools, government agencies, grassroots communities, local interest groups and other organisations in our endeavours to educate a wider audience on the importance of marine conservation.
Did you know that marine plastic pollution has a negative impact not only to the oceans, but even the human population? Join us at the Open Ocean Habitat for educational storytelling and learn about the dangers and impact of marine plastic pollution.
